Viair's 40040 400C Air Compressor Kit is built around their 400C model air compressor. Rated at 150 PSI, the 400C is a 33% duty cycle compressor that works quickly and efficiently putting out a massive 2.54 CFM flow at zero PSI head pressure providing a powerful foundation to build out an air compression system. The 400C features an oil-less, no maintenance design, with a gearless direct drive permanent magnetic motor, heavy duty PTFE piston ring and precision and high-speed durable bearings for increased piston and motor life. Additional parts provided with the kit include: mounting hardware, heavy duty mounting feet with vibration isolators, freeze-resistant wiring, remote mount air filter assembly, air line for remote mounting air filter, heavy duty terminals (spade connector, ring terminal) and more. 150 PSI with a Massive CFM Flow VIAIR 400C compressors are used at the center of a fully functional onboard air system and are rated to 150 PSI maximum working pressure with 33% duty cycle, meaning that the unit is able to be operated up to 15 minutes, and allowed to rest for 30 minutes thereafter before restarting (based on a 100 PSI, 72° Fahrenheit environment).
